Welcome in the world of scientific visualization !


Narcisse is a client-server software designed to convert ASCII simple numeric files (such as produced by spreadsheets or by simulation programs or written by hand) to complex 2D or 3D drawings.

The data files and many drawing's attributes (colors, sizes, point of view, ...) can be handled either by a GUI or by programs (written in Fortran, C or C++) or by scripts across a network.

Many drivers are provided : Postscript, X11, OpenGL, and even SVG !

The software is available in Open Source under the GPL GNU license as well as precompiled binaries for Unix systems including Linux.
